Richard brings a plethora of knowledge and experience from all sides of the mobile business together in his role as CCO at Nextgen. He first ran a Mobile Operator (Telcom Bermuda) as Managing Director which he sold to AT&T Wireless. He then launched the first AT&T Wireless greenfield mobile network in St Lucia as the General Manager and managed the integration of network technology and operations across the eastern Caribbean islands.
Richard also served as the CEO of BSG Wireless which provided software solutions to network operators such as AT&T, BT, Comcast, and Deutsche Telekom. Their solutions helped operators to build and manage their Wi Fi services and Richard, a disciplined innovator, brought together multiple customised solutions into a single product. He is a PRINCE 2 Practitioner and enjoys project planning and motivating teams to help them achieve their business and sales goals.
