Since joining in 2019, Vimal has completely and efficiently reconfigured the finance department at Nextgen and overseen the rationalisation of the Nextgen group’s capital and organisational structure, including the merger of our MEA company and other sister companies. In addition to handling the overseeing the company finances with meticulous attention to detail, Vimal also heads up our HR department (People and Culture) and has special responsibility for the largest body of staff in the organisation – our two Indian offices in Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
A well rounded and highly approachable individual, he also handles shareholder relations and management of the Board, as well as all banking and legal relationships. Prior to joining Nextgen, Vimal was responsible for running the finance departments of a number of companies in the SME sector where he gained experience with all aspects of financial control and management. Independently, Vimal also has a track record as a successful property developer both in India and in UK.
